About The Author

I'm a 26-year-old Airline Pilot with over 3500 hours on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.

I began my pilot training at 18 years old and was lucky enough to fly passengers at my first airline for the first time at 20. I now fly for one of the worlds largest and favourite airlines.

I knew I wanted to be a commercial pilot from a young age. I was lucky enough to have a Father that pushed me to achieve this dream and helped me gather all of the information required to get started.

Acquiring relevant and valuable information was nearly impossible, and there was no set guide or instructions on how to get started or what to look for. This is what inspired me to write this book.

You can read more about my journey here.

Why would you spend your hard earned money on this book?

Everything in one place

Find out not just where to start as well as the pathway that works best for you, but also learn what the training looks like, from people who have actually done it! You have access to your very own commercial pilot.

Avoid hours of useless research

Everyone hates wasting their time and money, and I am no different. Avoid spending hours scrolling through unhelpful internet forums, youtube videos and looking at different information on social media that doesn't help someone in your position.

Avoid out of date information

We all know that things change on a regular basis. This book has been written with these changes in mind and aims to give you guidance on how to find the most up to date information for you.

Avoid spending money on travel, hotels and open days

I'm by no means saying that open days are a bad thing, and the book will encourage you to attend some of these. However, my Father and I wasted a huge amount of money as well as our weekends driving hundreds of miles and staying in hotels to allow us to attend open days that were nothing more than a sales pitch.

Unlimited access to future updates

This book will be kept up to date on a regular basis. By purchasing this book you will receive all of these updates for free. I am passionate about working with as many people as possible and it is likely I might receive some questions from readers that aren't covered in the book, questions that others are likely to have too.

More About This Book

Why did I create this book?

I remember being 17 and full of excitement and enthusiasm to do everything in my power to become an airline pilot. This excitement was soon replaced by frustration and anxiety due to finding it almost impossible to gather reliable, accurate and in-date information.

I wish I could have had a guide with all of the information and guidance all in one place. Throughout my career I have worked at many different events and worked with different organisations to try and help future pilots get the information they need. However, I found it hard to reach enough people and get this valuable information out there. Because of this, I decided to write this book to try and share the knowledge that I gained throughout my pilot career, and in particular my training, with a larger audience.
